Apple’s Online Store Gets a Facelift

Following the Steve Jobs keynote at the World Wide Developers Conference on Monday, Apple revealed a sleeker version of its online retail store. The new look does away with the colored tabs in favor of a more subdued gray theme, and offers an easier to follow product category layout.

The Internet-based Apple Store went offline earlier Monday morning leading up to the keynote presentation by Appleis CEO at WWDC. The outage led to speculation that Apple was preparing to announce new or updated hardware products. In the end, however, it appears that Appleis intent was only to update the siteis look.
