Apple's X11 1.1.2 Improves Graphics

Apple released X11 1.1.2, an update to its X11 X Window environment, on Wednesday evening. The updated version improves graphic support with enhanced GLX stereo visuals, and improved offscreen rendering for GLX Pbuffers and Pixmaps. The update requires Mac OS X 10.4.8 or higher.

X11 works with Mac OS X so that UNIX users can run X11-compatible applications, and is included with Mac OS X. The update is free, and available for download at the Apple Web site.
