Aquafadas Releases iDive v. 1.8 Video Librarian

Aquafadas announced the release of version 1.8 of its digital video cataloging program on Tuesday. The new version includes a completely new capture module that offers options on how the video file is stored and more.

The storage option allows the user to decide where to save the video in a form compatible with iMovie or Final Cut, or as an on-the-fly compressed video.

Other improvements include: tape groups that can be organized via drag and drop and a maintenance tool to run diagnostics and repair corrupted libraries. Improved handling of iMovie projects, improved tagging and an extended documentation round out the list of changes.

Aquafadas iDive 1.8 is a Universal Application and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. (10.4 for Mosaic feature and Spotlight.) It is priced at US$69.95.
