Aspyr Announces Online Game Store

Mac game developer, Aspyr Media, announced on Monday that it is developing an Internet-based game purchasing and download store. Users will access the store through a free application called The Gamerhood. The Gamerhood will check system compatibility and alert you if your Mac doesnit meet a gameis minimum requirements, notify you of game updates and handle installation, will let parents restrict access to games based on ESRB ratings, and more.

The Gamerhood application and store will feature a wide selection of Aspyr games, and will be available fall 2006.
