Aspyr Media has released a demo for MTX: Mototrax for Mac, the motocross game. MTX: Mototrax is aimed at the "extreme" end of the sport, and offers players the chance to improve their characters and bikes through a career point system.
According to Aspyr, "MTX: Mototrax delivers thrilling mud-slinging, fast-paced racing action at 60 frames per second. Players become further involved in their quest for track domination with authentic environmental effects, realistic sound engines and a pulsating rock soundtrack developed for the game."
Game locations include the Hawaiian Islands, the Bayou, and the Australian Outback, and the demo specifically lets you check out the racing on the McKenna Rock outdoors racing track against 7 computer opponents.
The demo weighs in at 128MB, and can be downloaded from MacGameFiles.com. The full game is priced at US$19.99 ($17.95 - Amazon), and you can find more information on MTX: Mototrax at Aspyris Web site.
