Aspyr Media on Wednesday announced that it has set the system requirements for Civilization III: Complete, which the publisher will ship in December. The collection requires Mac OS X v10.3.9, a 500MHz G4 or G5 processor, 256MB RAM, 2GB free hard drive space, a display capable of 1024 x 768 resolution and a DVD drive. Unfortunately, multi-player matches over the Internet are possible only through GameRanger.
Civilization III: Complete features the original game, which was first published by MacSoft, along with the Conquests and Play the World expansion packs. Aspyr noted that this collection brings multi-player action to the Mac version of the game for the first time. That feature was added to the PC version with the Play the World expansion pack, while Conquests added new civilizations, scenarios and other features.
Pricing has not been released yet, nor does Aspyr have a product page on its Web site yet. The publisher currently directs gamers to the official Sid Meieris Civilization III Web site for more information.
