Astro Update Adds Thumbnail Support

ECXS Information Systems and Troi Automatisering have released an update for Astro, bringing it to version 1.2v1. Astro is a management utility plug-in designed for FileMaker databases. The update features support for thumbnail images in several format types. According to ECXS Information Systems and Troi Automatisering:

ECXS Information Systems and Troi Automatisering today announced the availability of Astro 1.2v1 for Mac OS and Mac OS X.

Astro is a simple, yet powerful Digital Asset Management solution. Astro was created by ECXS Information Systems and uses FileMaker and the power of Troi plug-ins to let you find all your catalogued files quickly.

Astro 1.2v1 adds these new functions and features:

  • Added creation of thumbnails for the following file types: EPSF, XDOC (Quark) and PDF (the latter on Mac OS X only)
