Atlanta Mac User Group Meeting Tonight: Presenters Include Apple’s Jack Quattlebaum

The Atlanta Mac User Group (AMUG) dropped us a note about their August meeting, which is tonight. Appleis Jack Quattlebaum will be offering the group a presentation on the new products and other announcements from Apple from last monthis MACWORLD Expo. Tonightis meeting also includes a door prize. According to AMUG:

Apple Computer’s Jack Quattlebaum will be presenting all of the news and products from Macworld NY 2001 at the August meeting of the Atlanta Macintosh Users Group. Live demonstrations of the new iMacs, Quicksilver G4s, and summaries of all the great products introduced at Macworld will be featured at the General Meeting on August 21, 2001.

In addition to the usual activities, AMUG will be hosting another AMUG Professionals Networking Reception before the General Meeting. The Networking Reception offers an excellent opportunity for Atlanta-based Macintosh professionals to mingle and expand their business opportunities and interact with their fellow professionals.

The meeting will be held August 21 at Macquarium. The Networking reception will begin at 6:15 PM, with the Mac Troubleshooting session beginning at 7:15 PM Jack and Mike will begin their presentations at 7:30 PM and will conclude around 9:00 PM with a door prize giveaway immediately following. The Atlanta Macintosh Users Group is dedicated to enhancing the experience of users of Macintosh and other computers, fostering a sense of community, providing access to resources and presenting opportunities for education to help members maximize their use and enjoyment of their computers.
