Audio Hijack Pro 2.8.1 Resolves Leopard SSH and Printing Issues

· by · News

Rogue Amoeba released Audio Hijack Pro 2.8.1 on Wednesday to address compatibility issues related to the Mac OS X 10.5.2 Security Update 2008-002. The update corrects a problem that prevents users from printing or using SSH after installing the security patch.

Version 2.8.1 also includes Instant Hijack 2.0.3.

Several Apple support forum members began complaining about an inability to print documents or to use SSH services after applying Security Update 2008-002. In many cases, removing Instant Hijack corrected the problem -- not an optimal fix, but at least a temporary workaround until todayis Audio Hijack Pro update was released.

Audio Hijack Pro 2.8.1 is priced at US$32 and is available for download at the Rogue Amoeba Web site. The update is free for licensed users.
