Australian AUC Offers WWDC Scholarships

The Australian Apple University Consortium (AUC) has announced that it will offer up to 15 staff and 25 student scholarships for attendance at Appleis Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco this August. Each AUC member university also has one allocated scholarship that can be used to send a staff member to either WWDC or Macworld San Francisco next January.

Each scholarship will consist of a financial subsidy to help pay for airfare as well as accommodations in San Francisco for seven days. Anyone who wants to apply must be a staff member or student of an AUC member university and have a programming, IT management, or digital media background.

The scholarship application process is open now and closes May 23. The winners will be announced June 5. WWDC will take place Aug. 7 to 11. Macworld Expo is Jan. 8 to 12, 2007.
