BBEdit 8.7 Adds Lua Support, More

Bare Bones Software announced the immediate availability of BBEdit 8.7 on Monday. The updated version of the text and code editing application added support for the Lua programming language.

The new version of BBEdit also improved the File Groups and Disk Browser workflow features, added the ability to open the last used document on relaunch, updated the Python module, improved AppleScript support, and more.

BBEdit is priced at US$125. The update is free for version 8.5 and 8.6 users.
