Belkin Debuts TuneBase FM For iPod mini

Belkin Corp. announced Tuesday the TuneBase FM for the Apple iPod mini that lets users power, charge and listen to the portable player while in the car.

The TuneBase FM plugs into a cigarette lighter outlet and features a flexible-steel neck, iPod mini holder, and built-in FM transmitter.

The device offers four programmable memory channels to tune a car radio to. The adapter includes a custom-designed swivel cradle and can also deliver line-out sound quality with a cassette adapter or audio cable through 3.5mm audio output.

The TuneBase FM will begin shipping on November 22 for US$79.99, the company said.
