Big Mug Software announced the immediate availability of Capture Magic SD for the Mac on Monday. Capture Magic SD is an application that can capture video streams from multiple cameras at the same time. It supports standard definition consumer DV, DVCPro25 and DVCPro50 cameras with a FireWire interface, and records straight to disk.
Capture Magic SD also includes a preview monitor, scaling and flipping, and offers several monitor features including Weighted Waveform, Colored Waveform, RGB Parade, Weighted Vectorscope, and Luminance and RGB Histograms.
Capture Magic SD is available for download at the Big Mug Software Web site, and is priced at US$159. After June 17, the price will go up to $199.
