Bitbliss Studios has released Pile & Pop, an action puzzle game in which players pick up and drop colored bricks, forming sets that pop and potentially create combos with high scores. In Arcade mode, gamers must clear the screen while Strategy mode challenges them to deal with the bricks added to the pile with each move they make.
Power-ups that do everything from stop time to destroy entire rows of bricks add variety to the action. Each mode has three levels of difficulty. Pile & Pop sells for US$19.95, with Mac OS X v10.2 and a 500MHz processor required.
