Black Cat Systems announced the immediate availability of MultiMode 5.8 on Friday. MultiMode is a decoder and transmitter for the non-voice communication systems used by shortwave and ham radio operators. The updated version adds tuning indicators for several modes, improvements to SSTV mode, enhancements to macros for transmitting text, bug fixes, and more. MultiMode 5.8 is available for download at the Black Cat Systems Web site, and is priced at US$89.
