Bluetooth Mighty Mouse On the Way

· by · News

A recent filing with the FCC reveals that Apple Computer is preparing to introduce a Bluetooth version of its Mighty Mouse. The wireless mouse, code named "M6," looks just like the current Mighty Mouse, but without a USB cable. It runs on two AA batteries, requires Mac OS X 10.4.6 or higher, and includes the same left and right buttons, side buttons, and scroll ball button that its wired cousin has.

The filing does not include any information that indicates when Apple may release M6, but itis possible the company is planning an introduction at the World Wide Developer Conference in August.
