Sonny Software announced the immediate availability of Bookends 10 on Thursday. The new version of the bibliography, reference, and information management application added direct Z39.50 access for online UNIMARC and OPAC libraries.
Bookends 10 also gained a redesigned user interface, reference ratings, an integrated PDF, image, and text file viewer, improved search capabilities, the ability to access multiple OpenURL servers, and more.
It is priced at US$99 ($69 for students), and is available for download at the Sonny Software Web site. Updates from previous versions cost $29.
