Boot Camp 1.3 beta Improves Installer, Graphics, More

Apple released Boot Camp 1.3 beta, the utility that installs and boots Windows XP on Intel-based Macs, on Thursday. The new version updated the graphics drivers, improved the Boot Camp driver installer, and added MacBook Pro keyboard backlight support.

The update also added support for Apple Remote pairing, improved international keyboard support, updated the Windows Help for Boot Camp, and fixed several localization issues.

The Boot Camp public beta is free and available for download at the Apple Web site. It requires an Intel-based Mac and Mac OS X 10.4.6 or higher.
