Bubble Trouble Pops With An Update

Ambrosia Software has released an update for Bubble Trouble, bringing it to version 1.0.1. Bubble Trouble X is based on the arcade classic, and features gameplay within the confines of an aquarium. The update adds performance enhancements and bug fixes. According to Ambrosia Software:

Ambrosia Software, Inc. has just released an update to the squish-the-fish arcade game, Bubble Trouble X.

Bubble Trouble is a classic arcade game in which cutthroat fishies are playing hardball in a squabble over some very wet turf. Think of it as splatball for insufferably cute seafaring critters (hey, they need their fun too).

Version 1.0.1 is an update for registered users of Bubble Trouble X; the change list is as follows:

  • Changed startup so if screen fades canit be used it defaults to wipes, rather than quitting with an error
  • Fixed bug with Jaguar where screen could flash indefinitely if game was switched to background when playing in full screen or with iswitch depth for speedi option on
  • Updated resolution switching code, which should make it more compatible with newer systems
  • Several smaller bug fixes and changes

You can find more information about the Bubble Trouble X update at the Ambrosia Software Web site. Bubble Trouble X 1.0.1 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$15.00.
