Buena Software Updates Dissolve Factory With Final Cut Express Support

Buena Software, Inc. has released an update for Dissolve Factory, bringing it to version 1.0.3. The Dissolve Factory is an After Effects and Final Cut Pro plug-in designed for expanding creative control over cross dissolve transitions. The update features support for Appleis Final Cut Pro Express and simplified transitions. According to Buena Software:

Buena Software, Inc. announced the release of an update to their Dissolve Factory plugin for creating new types of transitions in After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and now Final Cut Express.

Dissolve Factory is an After Effects and Final Cut Pro plugin which allows users to create tasteful new cross-dissolve transitions for their videos. It can simulate film or optical dissolves, as well as create entirely new dissolves based on colors, saturation, or other attributes of your source footage.

This update, which is free to registered users, adds support for Appleis Final Cut Express video editing application. In addition, it now works as a transition rather than an effect in Final Cut Pro making it significantly easier to use.

This update eliminates the tedious work with the razor tool in Final Cut Pro that previous versions required. Since it is now a full-fledged transition, instead of an effect plugin, you can even set it up as your default transition.

You can find more information about the Dissolve Factory update at the Buena Software, Inc. Web site. The Dissolve Factory update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$39.95.
