BusinessWeek Starts Apple Blog

· by · News

BusinessWeek online recently started a new blog called Byte of the Apple that focuses on Apple, Macintosh, and iPod related topics. The blog is hosted by BusinessWeekis computer editor Peter Burrows, and technology correspondents Arik Hesseldahl, and Cliff Edwards. Recent topics included a discussion on the future of video distribution, Apple product warranties, and a very active post looking for advice on switching from Windows to Mac OS X.

Readers are encouraged to chime in with their comments and perspective, and an RSS feed is also available.

BusinessWeekis decision to add an Apple specific blog is an example of the growing popularity of the Mac and iPod. Although Microsoftis Windows may be the dominant player, Byte of the Apple shows that the media now sees Mac OS X as a part of the mainstream.
