CMS Products Releases New Backup Utility From San Fran

CMS Products has announced a new app from the Macworld sales floor. Called BounceBack Professional, the utility is designed for the backup and restoration of external FireWire hard drives. The app features simplified data recovery and incremental backups. According to CMS PProducts:

Macworld Expo Meeting Room #260 - CMS Products(R) today shipped its new BounceBack Professional software for Mac OS X(R). Now for the first time, the worldis easiest backup and restore software can be used to make a bootable backup from most modern external FireWire drives.

The easy to use BounceBack Professional is a simple way to quickly recover from a disaster. BounceBack Professional only takes a few steps to select a FireWire drive as the designated backup drive. Once identified as the BounceBack Professional device, CMSi patent-pending "Automatic Launcher" technology makes backing up a breeze by automatically sensing when the drive is connected and backing up the system.

Additional incremental backups are automatic with BounceBack Professional simply by plugging in the designated drive. BounceBack Professional can activate incremental backups with a connected desktop FireWire drive on a designated schedule or on power-up.
