Aspyr Media on Thursday announced that a Web page for its upcoming World War II-themed first-person shooter Call of Duty 2 is now live on its Web site. The game is also now available for pre-order. The game, which is due to ship in May, features a new gameplay engine full of more aware AI-controlled soldiers and more realistic graphics. It also offers an online multiplayer component as well as the ability to take on combat missions in any order.
Pricing is US$49.99. System requirements wonit be available until four to six weeks before the game ships, but Aspyr has said that its new games will be Universal Binaries capable of running on either PowerPC- or Intel-based Macs.
