Camino Gets Universal Binary Support

Starting with release candidate 1, the Mozilla-based Camino Web browser is Universal Binary, supporting both Intel and PowerPC-based Macs. As Camino closes in on an official 1.0 public release, it now supports tabbed browsing, Spotlight bookmark searches, third-party preference panes, pausing and resuming downloads, searchable cookies, and more. It also includes improved ad and pop-up blocking and the Java Embedded Plugin, as well as other general performance improvements. The latest build, including Camino 1.0rc1, is available at the Camino Web site, and is free.

Remember, Camino is still in a "pre-release" state, and may not always be stable, or some features may not work correctly.
