· by · News

Canvastic announced the immediate availability of its namesake application, Canvastic 3.5, on Monday. The update for the design and presentation application for students added support for transparency and audio.

Version 3.5 supports transparency effects in graphics and text, adding audio clips to documents, voice recording, and importing content from iTunes. It also includes Spell Checker enhancements, new brush shapes, improved curriculum standards support for templates, backgrounds and art, and Canvastic is now a Universal Binary application, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based processors.

Canvastic 3.5 is priced starting at US$39, and is available at the Canvastic Web site. The update is free for all registered users.
