ChronoSync 2.0 Now Shipping

Econ Technologies has released a new version of ChronoSync, bringing it to version 2.0. ChronoSync is a back-up file and folder syncing utility designed for connecting several devices to a network. The latest release features several new enhancements including improved synchronization and expanded scheduling options. According to Econ Technologies:

Econ Technologies updates ChronoSync to version 2.0.

ChronoSync, the automated synchronization and backup application for Mac® OS X, gets mounting, rules, analysis, notification, scheduling, and speed improvements.

ChronoSync gives complete control over all your synchronizations. It can now automatically mount and unmount a wide variety of volumes, including external hard drives, removable media or computers running OS X, OS 9, Windows, Unix, or Linux. Schedule your sync to run at anytime or when a volume is mounted and ChronoSync will store your ID and password within the sync document so the entire process is automated.

ChronoSync adds even more to its scheduling options. Schedule syncs to run on the minute or schedule it to sync upon mounting so that data is automatically synchronized immediately when a target becomes available. New email notification sends sync logs after completion making it possible to monitor results from anywhere. Group multiple sync documents inside container documents to schedule several syncs at once. Additionally, pre- and post-synchronization AppleScripts can be specified to handle any synchronization scenario.

You can find more information about ChronoSync at the Econ Technologies Web site. ChronoSync 2.0 is available for US$20.00 until December 15th.
