Contour Design announced Thursday MiniPRO 2, a small mouse aimed at the travel market. The device utilizes Contouris "Lift & Click" technology that turns the two button mouse into a four button mouse.
Lift & Click is a gesture technology that allows the mouse to sense when itis been tilted, and then change what the buttons do to secondary functions assigned by the user. The default settings are designed to work with Dashboard and Expose in Mac OS X (Windows users get their own functions).
The company also noted that the optical device in the unit is twice as precise as the one in the original MiniPRO.
MiniPRO 2 is priced at US$32.95, and is available now.
