Corel To Sponsor Ottawa Animation Fest

Corel Corporation has announced the gold status sponsorship of this years Ottawa International Animation Festival. The festival highlights works from various talent in the animation industry. Corel will be demonstrating its animation line including Painter 7 and R.A.V.E. According to Corel:

Corel Corporation today announced its sponsorship of one of the world’s leading animation festivals, set to take place next month in Ottawa, Canada.

Founded in 1980, The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is North Americais largest and most important animation festival and the second largest in the world. The Festival is a gathering place for those in the business of animation and highlights the work of the talented artists that drive animation’s future. As a Gold Sponsor of the Ottawa International Animation Festival, Corel is assuming a position of prominence among the animation industry’s leaders.

Corel will have a strong presence at the Festival, demonstrating animation-friendly products procreate™ Painter 7™ and Corel R.A.V.E.™ 2, as well as presenting an exclusive shot design workshop by Erik Tiemens, a Concept Design Supervisor for Industrial Light and Magic. Tiemens has worked with Painter 7 in numerous films including Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
