Cumulus 7 to Support Intel Macs

Canto announced on Wednesday that the next version of its digital asset management product line, Cumulus 7, will be Universal Binary, allowing it to run natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. The new version will also include new workflow features, enhanced security for assets and metadata, a new Web Services interface, and more. Cumulus 7 should be available in early summer 2006.

Anyone that purchases Cumulus 6 Workgroup or Enterprise solution between now and the release of Cumulus 7 will receive a free upgrade. Cumulus 7 pricing information is not yet available.
