DEVONtechnologies has released an update for DEVONthink , bringing it to version 1.7.2. DEVONthink is a personal data management tool designed for organizing data, ranging from pictures to source codes. The update expands email importing and adds file management enhancements. DEVONtechnologies updates DEVONthink to version 1.7.2, adds new features, improvements and fixes.
DEVONthink 1.7.2 comes with a new script that letis users import selected e-mails from Apple Mail, a contextual menu command to make contents outline items without opening the info palette, and a dock menu command to create new contents from the clipboard directly in a selected group.
Also, files associated with a content can be opened via the info palette, contents are by default editable in browser windows and DEVONthink recognises more file name extensions for plain text files. Other improvements include better support for wrong HTML encodings, a better HTML and JavaScript parser and the newest version of "pdftotext", 2.02pl1.
