DEVONtechnologies has released an update for DEVONthink , bringing it to version 1.5. DEVONthink is a personal data management tool designed for organizing data, ranging from pictures to source codes. The update features performance enhancements including improved PDF support and bug fixes. According to DEVONtechnologies:

The new version further improves reliability and the overall user experience, introduces a german localisation, speeds up the whole application performance, adds simple AppleScript support and fixes some minor and major bugs.
Due to a revised file format, the critical process of the database initialisation is dramatically faster. Version 1.5 includes improved PDF support using Metaobjectis TextLightning or pdftotext, part of xPDF 2.01 and included in the package, and features better parsing and displaying of HTML pages.
Column views now feature an additional column to preview selected items like in the Finderis column view, drag-and-drop supports data exchange between DEVONthink and any other Cocoa or Carbon application and replicating or duplicating contents by using modifier keys. Additionally, the user interface is more consistent by supporting drag-and-drop, renaming or the clipboard in all views, displays more details of selected items and improves handling of shortcuts.
