DEVONtechnologies announced the immediate availability of DEVONthink Professional 1.3 and DEVONthink Professional Office 1.3 on Thursday. The updated version of the information and document management applications improve AppleScript and Firefox support, includes database-specific settings in backups, fixes compatibility with the StopLight SIMBL plug-in, several bus have been fixed, and more.
DEVONthink Professional Office, which includes email archiving, document scanning with OCR, and an integrated Web server, now adds French and Danish localizations, improves the OCR (optical character recognition) process, and supports drag-and-drop importing of Unix mailbox files.
Both applications are available at the DEVONtechnologies Web site. DEVONthink Professional is priced at US$79.95, and the Office version costs $149.95.
