Danish newspaper the Copenhagen Post is reporting that Apple will be bringing the iTunes Music Store (iTMS) to Denmark this October. The newspaper is also reporting that Microsoft will be launching its own online music store in Denmark at the same time. From the Copenhagen Post:
Microsoft and Apply are vying for the growing Danish market for online music sales, with the two rivals planning simultaneous debuts of legal music downloading services in Denmark.
When Apple unveils the Danish version of its successful online music shop, iTunes, this October, the company will already be bracing for stiff competition from IT giant Microsoft. Just a few days before the grand opening of iTunes, Microsoft will debut its own music download site, MSN Music.
