Daystar Reduces Price, Adds Features to XtraView

Daystar Technology has reduced the price and added new features to its NTSC Video to QuickTime converter, the XtraView. The new version supports full-screen TV viewing from any tuner or player, and can create a perfectly synced recording to QuickTime format.

The XtraView hardware and software include everything a user needs to capture, edit and create NTSC video. Both audio and video are transmitted to the Mac via USB. ArcSoftis VideoImpression 2.0 capture software has a simple "click and record" interface. There are inputs for both RCA and S-video.

The XtraView reqiures a Mac with USB 2 and Mac OS X 10.3.8 or later. It is now priced at US$89.00 and is immediately available.
