Decent Traffic Keeps Apple In The Top Five

Traf fic to the top hardware sites was down last week according to the PC Data Top 10 rankings, and Apple was no exception. After a number of weeks of strong traffic, the Apple.com site saw less than a million visitors last week, but traffic was still strong enough to put Apple in the number four spot of the PC Data rankings. The top three spots were occupied by Compaq, HP, and Dell, while the rest of the Top 10 went largely unchanged. Hardware makers IBM, Intel, and Gateway were again in the Top 10, while Outpost replaced Palm to join eTracks and Egghead representing computer resellers.
