Black Cat System is now shipping a beta version of Rad. Rad is the interface app that works with the GM-10 radiation detector. Rad is designed for the collection and charting of radiation levels over time. According to Black Cat Systems:

Black Cat Systems announces the release of the 1.2.0b1 beta version of the MacOSX version of Rad, the interface software for the GM-10 radiation detector.

The GM-10 nuclear radiation detector plugs into any Macintosh computer (using a standard serial port), and detects alpha, beta, gamma, and x-ray radiation.

The accompanying Rad software charts radiation levels over time, stores data to disk for further analysis, and can even automatically upload graphs of data to your website!

You can find more information about the beta version of Rad at the Black Cat Systems Web site. The GM-10 Radiation Detector is available for US$149.00.
