Developer News: Apple Posts Article about OsiriX

The Apple Developer Connection published an article Tuesday about OsiriX, a medical imaging technology thatis only on Mac OS X.

OsiriX was developed to make it possible for doctors to examine and share scanned images, medical image data and visualizations. The technology is integrated with Apple technologies, including iChat AV, QuickTime VR, iDisk, Xcode and Cocoa development tools, Xgrid, and even iPod. In addition, OsiriX is Open Source.

The articleis intent is to introduce developers to OsiriX, and offer some background on how the technology works. The Apple Developer Connection is Appleis developer organization, which regularly posts articles such as this, how-tos, tutorials, and other coding-relating issues.
