KavaSoft has released an update for iConquer, bringing it to version 2.2. iConquer is a game designed for global domination via invasion and general warfare. The update improves the AI and enhances network options. According to KavaSoft:

KavaSoft has announced iConquer 2.1, a new version of the game of world conquest for Mac OS X.

iConquer allows up to 6 players to play against each other over the Internet. iConquer 2 features a completely new network architecture for dramatically enhanced speed and stability. iConquer can also be played against your computer, using complex artificial intelligence algorithms to simulate ferocious adversaries like Stalin or Napoleon.

This new version features enhanced network options, new maps, and more flexible artificial intelligence.

iConquer 2.2 can be played on over a dozen maps, including new maps of the United States and the Solar System. Support for downloading map plug-ins has also been improved.

In addition to Roman numerals, iConquer 2.2 can now display the number of available armies in Western or Japanese numerals.

You can find more information about the iConquer update at the KavaSoft Web site. iConquer is available for US$12.99.
