Doseido Software announced Tuesday Headline 1.0, a new news reader for Mac OS X. The software includes support for Leopardis Core Animation, support for playing media directly in the reader, filtering, favorites, and article sharing.
The company also touted what it called Headlineis "ultra-minumum UI," for those who find that less is more in their software. Filtering options include Today, This Week, This Month, All, Unread, or Favorite articles. The company also uses Core Animation to offer transitions when switching from article to article.
The software requires Mac OS X 10.5.2 or later, and is priced at US$19.95 (a Family Pack license is available for $39.95). Doseido offers a trial version, as well.
