EarthBrowser 3.0 Adds Doppler Radar and Aurora Display

Lunar Software has announced the immediate availability of EarthBrowser 3.0. The new version adds Doppler Radar, true 3D rendering using Adobe AIR, Northern Lights overlays and more.

Additional new features include:

  • Animated weather model forecasts from NOAA
  • Embedded web browser
  • KML file support (Google Earth data files)
  • Add your own placemarks


EarthBrowser 3.0

EarthBrowser offers a realtime view of the Earth with digital terrain, clouds, webcams, country borders as well as location time and temperature.

EarthBrowser 3.0 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and is also available for Windows 2K/XP/Vista. The upgrade from version 2.x to 3.0 is priced at US$19.95. The full version is priced at US$29.95 and comes with two years of upgrades and support.
