Ecamm Network released an update to version 2.0 of its DockStar application on Friday. The new version adds a widget and screen saver, support for nested folders, more flagging options, and the option to play a sound when each badge increments.
DockStar is an add-on for the Apple Mail application that ads customizable indicators to the Dock icon so that user can keep track of e-mail as it arrives. Version 2 adds additional features as well as new indicators in widgets and a screen saver.

DockStar 2 requires the Mail.app 1.3 or later, Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and is a Universal Binary. It is priced at US$8.00, and a free demo is available.
