Eloquent Software Adds French/Japanese to Safari Dictionary

Eloquent Software announced on Friday that they have upgraded LiveDictionary, their Safari dictionary plug-in, to version 1.2.7. The new version supports French and Japanese localizations and adds support for Ultralingua 6.

LiveDictionary allows the Safari user to place the cursor over a word and see the dictionary definition or translation from another language. It comes bundled with WordNet 2.0 English Dictionary which is especially useful for linguistics and natural language processing. A dictionary loader feature allows the user to download and install multiple dictionaries.

LiveDictionary requires Mac OS X 10.3 and has a 10-day free trial. It is priced at US$25.00.
