Thomson ResearchSoft on Tuesday released EndNote 9, the latest version of its bibliographic management software. This update offers support for Spotlight searches in Mac OS X v10.4 as well as better performance and connectivity to more worldwide data sources.
Upgrades are US$99.95 as a download or $109.95 in boxed form. The full version is #239.95 as a download or $299.95 as a boxed copy. EndNote 9 is compatible with Microsoft Word X and 2004 as well as RTF (rich text format) files created by AppleWorks, OpenOffice and other software.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.6 or higher, a 450MHz processor, 256MB RAM and 180MB free hard drive space.
