Feral Interactive announced on Tuesday a patch for Chessmaster 9000 that allows it to run natively on Intel Macs.

"The universal patch for Chessmaster 9000 is out now! This update to the game allows Chessmaster to run at full speed on Macs with Intel processors ... and thatis very speedy indeed. Weive also fixed a few graphical glitches that occurred while running the game on OS X Leopard," Feral Interactive said.

Chessmaster 9000 requires OS X Jaguar or later, 16 MB of VRAM, and a 700 MHz CPU. It is priced at US$40.00
