FileMaker Developer Conference Set for August

Registration is now open for the 10th Annual FileMaker Developer Conference, which will take place Aug. 28 - Sept. 1 in Phoenix, Ariz, FileMaker, Inc. announced Wednesday.

The conference will take place at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa and will include more than 40 sessions, as well as a product showcase featuring third-party solutions, meetings with FileMaker engineers, product managers and tech support team members, a database competition, the FileMaker Excellence Awards and more.

FileMaker President Dominique Goupil will give opening keynote session, the company said.

A preliminary list of technical sessions has been released and includes: Building Dynamic Web Sites With PHP and FileMaker Pro; Security Nuts & Bolts; Integrating FileMaker with Windows Office Applications: Where to Start?; Advanced FileMaker Techniques; Ensure Data Integrity with Database Transactions in FileMaker Pro 7; Performance Optimization in FileMaker 7; Publishing Complex Documents Using XML; Building a Custom Web Publishing Application from Scratch: a FileMaker- Based Weblog; Vertical Marketing - Building a Revenue Stream; Building a Reusable FileMaker Solution; Before and After: From Fat to Fit with FileMaker Pro 7.

Registrants signing up for the conference by June 30 will receive US$200 off the regular fee of $1,295.
