F ileMaker introduced Thursday the free FileMaker Creative Pro Starter Kit, a free bundle of five ready-to-use database solutions for creative professionals and managers.
"The free solutions are designed for creative teams in advertising agencies, direct mail companies, film and video production companies, photography studios, graphics design agencies, animation studios, publishing houses and TV studios and more," the press release explains. Specifically, the Kit includes ClientTracker from iSolutions, Praesto Jr. from Base Builders, Asset Tracker from New Century Data, Job Time Tracker from Soilant Consulting, and JobCharge TimeSheet, from EnglishComp.
A new FileMaker Web site for creative professionals features stories about many well known companies that use FileMaker and video demos showing how creative services customers have deployed FileMaker solutions.
The free FileMaker Creative Pro Starter Kit download includes a 30-day trial of FileMaker Pro 7. FileMaker Pro 7 sells for $299 ($149 to upgrade from 6.0).
