FileMaker announced Monday it is now shipping FileMaker Donations 2.0, an updated version of its donations management application that helps charitable organizations and other non-profits plan, track and streamline their fundraising campaigns, donations and donor outreach efforts.
Completely redesigned, version 2.0 features a user-controlled multi-window environment, built-in security with predefined privilege sets, improved data import from Microsoft Outlook and Apple Address Book, quick view of outstanding actions on the home page, including contact interactions, organizations, group interactions, events and donations.
Owners of FileMaker Donations 1.0 can upgrade to version 2.0 for free. For first time buyers, FileMaker Donations 2.0 is priced at US$129.
