SmartDisk Corp. on Monday introduced FireLite XPress, a portable USB hard drive with an always-on display that shows its name and table of contents as well as the last date information was written to it. SmartDisk noted that the display can be read in direct sunlight and at wide angles.
FireLite XPress will ship next month in 60GB and 120GB capacities for US$199.99 and $299.99, respectively. A product page was not available on the SmartDisk Web site as The Mac Observer posted this article.
