FireWire To Go Wireless?  FireWireWorld Takes A Look

Our good friends at FireWireWorld have posted an interesting article concerning the future of FireWire, and the possibility of a FireWire based wireless standard. According to FireWireWorld:

With representatives from Intel, Microsoft, TI and others,the 1394 Trade Association Wireless Working Group will workon establishing interconnectivity between 1394 wireddomains and wireless domains for computer and consumerelectronics equipment.
