FirewireDirect Intros UltraIII PRO SATA Hard Drive Subsystems

FirewireDirect has released UltraIII Pro Series, professional external Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive subsystems that promise data transfer speeds as fast as or faster than Parallel ATA or SCSI drives. Theyire compatible with all SATA/eSATA storage ports. A 150GB version (US$449.95) features 10,000rpm speed, while 7200rpm drives start at 250GB capacity ($179.95) and go up to 750GB ($489.95).
